tom24 Posted February 9, 2020 Share #1 Posted February 9, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello In the next two months, I am planing to buy a new MacBook pro 16 retina. It has Catalina OS installed by default. What is your "real-life" experience at the moment with Catalina OS and: -Lightroom and Photoshop -Epson SCP800 drivers -Image Print (printing software) -Color Navigator 7 (for Eizo monitor) -i1 Profiler for monitor calibration with i1 Display Pro Does anyone have any experience how these application are compatible with Catalina OS and how they work? If I had the option on a new MacBook I would take OS Mojave, but OS Catalina is already preloaded. Thank you. Regards.

zeitz Posted February 10, 2020 Share #3 Posted February 10, 2020 There is no need to fear Catalina with 10.15.2 or later unless you have some old 32 bit apps. Color Navigator 6 was 32 bit; Color Navigator 7 is 64 bit and works fine. Be alert that sometimes you have to set full disk access manually under preferences / security. I had to do that only once.
