By the Silvery Moon the ISS was making a transit. Okay, I get that this is not an award winning photo, but I've been attempting for months to make a photo of the International Space Station in front of the moon and today I did it, mostly. It is a huge technical challenge and will be much better at night the next time there is a transit near where I live. In the daytime the contrast with the moon in the sky is very low and I made the mistake of under-exposing the image because I zoomed the spotting scope and didn't check my exposure after doing so. I used the iPhone App - ISS Transit Finder. I'm certain I can do better in the future. Leica Q2, 1/2000, f/2, ISO 100, medium speed continuous shutter, Swarovski ATS-80 Spotting scope and Leica Q Digiscoping adapter, at 40X magnification, Manual focus, on tripod,
