Popular Post bandrews Posted January 30, 2020 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 30, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I’ve spent months deliberating on whether or not to buy an M and a couple of times nearly pulled the trigger on a used M9/ME. I’ve always wimped out last minute thinking about if I should go for the 240 instead... or maybe the MD.... no, definitely the ME..... no, M9..... I held off asking on a forum as to which to buy as it is so subjective and prefer to make my own mind up. Anyway, at some point between getting home from the neighbours’ house last night and waking up this morning I seem to have bought a new M10-P (cheaper than most mint second hand examples I could find) and it’s arriving tomorrow. I’ve owned several Leicas -X 113 and X2 now sold and currently have a Q and CL with couple of TL and M lenses but this is my first M. Don’t know why I felt the need to share that but very much looking forward to it arriving. 20

Peter Kilmister Posted January 30, 2020 Share #15 Posted January 30, 2020 Good luck to you. The M10-P is a star. 24 megapixels are perfect ... better than analogue film, without all the chemicals. No need for Image Stabilisation. Whatever comes next will need stabilising. Just wait and see.
sutlore Posted January 31, 2020 Share #16 Posted January 31, 2020 LOL, I understand your feeling. I was drunk several days by taking in M10/M10P unboxing videos on Youtube before buying it. After hearing the M10P *tudd* shutter sound so many time, I ended up go to the shop and grabbed the M10P just before mid autumn festival last year. Man, it was so exciting for me.

budjames Posted January 31, 2020 Share #19 Posted January 31, 2020 Personally, I don't get the M10-D. But that's me. I say that as an M10 owner on the waiting list for the new M10 Monochrom. :) However, I wish you good luck and lots of great photography with your new camera. It's great that Leica offers choices to die hard fans.
