This great image warms my heart and show one of the multitude of reasons I am so very happy I started this thread years ago. The M8 lives on so wonderfully.

I had (and still have) an X-Vario and now an M8. The feeling of the process is completely different. But I really, really like the process and the result. :)

We are a group of photography enthusiasts and at the end of this month we have an art fair, each member of the group is asked for a photograph that reflects Wounded Nature.

On my own I have chosen 3 photos, but I only have to choose one, personally I am inclined towards the first one that would be titled "Torture Wounds" and the other 2, Color or Black and White, titled "Mortal Wound". Can you help me choose one?... Which one?...

I suggest this one. It catches my eye nicely and my attention is easily drawn around the image checking out various places in the frame. Composition is an individual thing, but if it were my image I would consider pulling the lower left corner in a bit tighter - maybe up, maybe in, maybe both directions a bit. I say this because as my eyes wandered the frame the only place that didn't feel fun to travel thru was down around there.

In Holland today (27th of April) is Koningsdag (Kingsday): the birthday of your king. Apart from the festivities for celebration a large event is that lots of people (mostly families or kids) try to get rid of their superfluous things. People sometimes get up very early in the morning to ascertain the 'best' spot. E.g. here in the old part of the city of Leidschendam, but also everywhere in The Netherlands.

While the centre is very crowded, a few miles away, there is (nearly) silence.
