I haven't used it for the past month or so, but my M8.2 seems to work nicely with my 35mm f/2 7Artisans lens.  I bought the lens on a whim, and the first one I received was horrible.  Sent it back for a replacement, and now that I've manually calibrated the focus (the lens comes with the tools do do this) it works quite nicely on my M8.2 - the corners, which were the least sharp, are cropped by the M8.2 naturally, and while the "Chinacron" can't capture all the detail from the Summicron, I don't think the M8 is capable of that much detail anyway.  I limit myself to no more than 640 ISO, and I tend to fill the (smaller) frame with my picture, and I'm quite pleased with it.  The sales tax on a new Summicron is probably more than I paid for the 7Artisans lens.

One problem of having both an M8.2 and a M10 is that most of the time, I grab the M10 instead.  So, I haven't taken many M8 photos over the past month.....    as in none.  In my mental "battle" between picking my M10 or my Nikon, the poor M8.2 usually gets overlooked, so every so often I just go off on a "walkabout" and only take the M8.2 with me.  Whatever I find, I need to make the camera work, and I've rarely been disappointed with it.  My "Chinacron" just becomes a typical 50mm lens, like I grew up with.....
