If you are foolish enough to take a black and white camera to a sakura beauty spot, you deserve all you get

I clearly like this tree, this time caught in the middle of rather heavy snow.  Almost the exact same perspective as the other day, just by chance, nothing to particularly mark how the first was shot. Second shot to mix things up. https://obscurity.xyz/posts/bare_snow_storm/

Focus is soft but still like the shot, really need minimum of 1/250 for kids, as at this age they hold still for well under a second.

Thank you so much, Olaf.

Tokyo Kogaku Topcor 3.5cm f2.8, LTM, M10M

When I first saw this I saw a woman with a short high ponytail walking, and I marveled at the cat-like shadow. Unfortunately, I can't see that anymore, but I still like it a lot anyway :)

Central London park again. I continue to enjoy how pockets of nature exist so closely to the urban.

Gosh, this is absolutely stunning. A beautifully observed scene.

Something in the way it is drawn makes it feel like a painting, there's real depth to the image, and some mystery in the hills behind the tree line.

May I ask what lens you used to capture it? Just for fun, I'm going to guess that it's something with a modern crisp smooth rendering - it reminds me of my Distagon... But maybe I will have got that completely wrong!

Keep in mind, too, that none of the 3 Monochroms share sensor architecture (separate from the Bayer difference) with the M10… not even the M10 Monochrom, which is derived from the S3.

Thank you, I am glad you like it. This photograph was taken with the current Summilux 50mm f1.4. It was taken in the surrounding of of a lake not far from where I live, called Pfäffikersee.

Cheers
