Trying to see what the DR is on the M10M compared with the M9M. The DR is very "workable" in LR with the M10M files, here's three versions of the same snap. The interior of the shop window was quite dark, and the end of the street was bright sun. Finding that for me the PP in LR is different to working the M9M files which I find more straightforward-forward, but perhaps as the M10M files have more depth and are more workable this should be expected and it's just one more learning curve to try to get used to. The "flatter" image shows how much can be recovered if desired, the third image is probably where I'd end up as a choice of look for this shot.

Inside the fisherman's house. It takes several years to put a mess such as this one 😂 but the man said he perfectly knows where is everything. And I have no doubt about that !

Ok, this is crazy and it doesn't show up very well here, but it looks incredible on my monitor.

Orion.  Full moon about 30 degrees from the constellation.

HAND HELD 1/60 sec, ISO 6400, f/2

50mm Apo-Summicron-M

Some black/white point adjustment and very mild noise reduction in LR.

Enlarged, you can tell the middle star in the sword is not a star (It's the Orion Nebula)

Funny, you took that, with a like mind, it was an idea I also wanted to explore the first night the M10M arrived 🙂

The camera can see more than I can see by eye with just a hint of  banding at ISO 50,000.

M10 + 50/0.95 ISO 50k 1/45s.handheld.

I’m temped to try a sodium cut filter and tripod.

Big snowstorm today so the next several shots are from my brief trek around my area. When I came in my camera looked like the ads for the Q2--dripping wet. (I probably just voided my warranty by admitting that.)
