Contemplating the World  - The file in my catalogue containing this image is named "off day in city". I remember not getting rhythm or focusing right and went home thinking I didn't get much. Two weeks later I have found a few gems in the file and this is one of them.

Had the camera with me on my Saturday morning bicycle ride in the morning's overcast and stopped to capture a current view of a path I ride down almost every week.

A Path at Guadalupe River Park - San Jose 2022
Leica M10 Monochrom + MS Optical Aporia 24mm f/2
ISO 360 @ f/5.6 @ 1/250

The area around this path has been changed dramatically since I first started photographing in the Park a decade or more ago, but this view remains mostly the same all this time. The M10-M captured it nicely, I think.

Nicely captured, indeed.

Ferns swaying in the wind

As I was testing my focus abilities with a 35mm Summilux ASPH. A soft south wind rose slightly

The ferns, like waves, moved up and down. I amused myself trying to focus.

Came up with this

Have hardly been out with the Mono in the last couple of months, and am hoping to get back to London later this month, despite the astronomical cost of plane tickets at the moment. So, in the meantime, here's a shot from earlier this year, near Vauxhall station. Quite liked the framing.
