Light Changes - Familiar buildings look different with the changing Sun angle. In my location its declination shifts northerly, creating a lower incident angle to architecture.

Gazing skyward.  I finally got the M10 Monochrom out again last night for a stargazing event at the Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum near home.  I knew light would be precious, so I used the 7-Artisans 50mm f/1.1 lens, ISO 12500.  Pretty fun.

This shot is the continuation of an attempt to capture the smiles in Washington, DC and its vicinity; please look here and here.  During a walk yesterday, not far from Pennsylvania Avenue, I used the M10M with 50mm APO at full aparture to capture the guard's smile; the image is edited with Silver Efex.  We first established an eye contact with a nod to affirm her permission to take the shot.  Kindly observe that resolution improves considerably when viewed on the light-box.    Regards.

And not far at all from the guard's shot above on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC, I found this happy gathering celebrating the wedding of the second person on the left (first line).  I waited till the groom gave a lovely smile, and I grabbed the shot.  I used the M10M with 50mm APO at full aperture; the image is edited with Silver Efex.  The exchanged pleasantries with the groom and his friends were happy and full of hope for a wonderful future.  Kindly observe that resolution improves considerably when viewed on the light-box.    Regards.
