Sorry. Inadvertently posted a M10R image here that was converted.

Scandalous! Provocateur! :)

I too have both cameras and yet never compared similar images, will do today.

I used this scene to see if I could gain anything by using HDR. I took two exposures with two stops difference (changed shutter speed). The simple answer is that I could see no gains at all, but I ended up with a 300 Mb file instead of 41 Mb. The quality was slightly better in the single exposure as I got some artefacts in the running water when I merged two images. My conclusion is that the DR of the M10M is so good that it is not worth the trouble to use HDR ( or grad filters).

It looks like you hauled your camera back to the 16th century.

My M10M is two years old this week. I have used this camera extensively, pandemic or no pandemic. As always with Monochrom cameras it took some adjusting to with post production  and personal workflow effects. What can I say? Its my favourite camera even though I still take the M9M out for a spin now and again.

Josh at Leica Miami is taking today to do his laundry. I suggested that he photograph the process and mount an exhibition at the store.

To encourage him, I captured this laundry shot with a M10M with an Emar 24MM lens at f8 ISO 2500  1/250. I processed the photo in Tide.
