Is anyone else finding filters helpful or necessary with the M10M?

I have discovered the benefit of using filters on my M10M. Since there are no filters or color channel internally to nuance the photos and punch them up a bit we need to use external filters just like film -- only better. The Red gives very dramatic skies, Orange tones the sky and gives a light tan to portraits, Yellow is more subtle. Ansel Adams used a Red filter to capture Half Dome the way he felt as he pre-visualized the final print-- and the sky is almost black but very dramatic. CHIPS

Hi nodrog,

I only focus through the viewfinder.
Yep, it's sharp only when it's required. I use different filters to gain an expected result. Please feel free to zoom to 100% for details.
For instance, another sample of the radioactive applied HOOGU, which is the orange filter, FYR.

And these pictures applied HOOAR, which is light yellow

Nice tones but it feels just a little repressed. Good work! CHIPS

Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, I pushed to the MFD, and it happened to a relatively repress perspective to the viewer.

very dramatic sky sets off the clouds in spectacular ways with the light. The red filter can transform the emotional impact of a photograph. Thanks. CHIPS
