Extreme Color Shift in Capture One 20

Recommended Posts

Advertisement (gone after registration)

Hey Guys! I’m new to this forum since I got my Q2 today :) I imported DNGs to Capture One 20 and the colors are completely off - way way over saturated and shifting towards magenta right after import with no adjustments applied.

In Lightroom the colors I see represent what I see in camera. What’s the reason for that? I read that capture one 20 deals with native DNGs just fine. Is there a fix for it? A setting I’m not seeing etc?

thanks :)

Yes that's a bug, you have to use the standard DNG profile not Leica Q2 profile for your pictures.

Better still - make your own profile (Easy and quick using X-Rite Passport.)

      alles versucht!
      Was mache ich falsch??
      Danke für Eure Hilfe!
      Viele Grüße
      Sonja

Back in September, I was able to sail aboard the USS CONSTITUTION, the world's oldest commissioned naval warship afloat.  The HMS VICTORY, Lord Nelson's flagship at Trafalgar, has actually been commissioned longer, but sadly she is in dry dock and no longer afloat.  This series comprises my selects while using the Q2 as a point-and-shoot for that once-in-a-lifetime experience...

      Moin!
Danke, schönes WE und cheers, thomas

Q2 (firmware 2.0) Question for the assembled masses. Does your Right Wheel Button work in manual focus? I can only get the focus zoom option to come up on the right wheel button when I am in manual mode. There is no press and hold menu option available and no way to assign ISO to that button. In auto-focus, it works fine. Anyone else experiencing this?

Just installed the new Q2 firmware. Writing to the SD card is significantly improved. The buffer hasn't improved, of course, so I still get only 9 fast DNG+JPEG photos before the camera stops shooting, but instead of ~20 sec to finish writing, now it's <10 seconds. The card is a Sandisk Extreme Pro 300 mb/sec 64 GB.
I had never saved my settings as a User Profile, so I lost them. (Hint, when the camera asks if you would like to save your user settings before doing the firmware upgrade, it's NOT going to tell you that you don't have any.  ) Now I get to spend the next 30 minutes trying to recreate my settings. Sigh.
