M Lens profile not showing up in Metadata

I might be doing something wrong here: when I specify an M-lens profile on my SL, it shows up as it should in the Metadata. When I do the same on my newly acquired CL, it does not. Thoughts?

Been there with a non Leica adapter. I would put a Leica adapter or clean its electric contacts.

Bummer. One does indeed have the Leica Adapter and the other the Novoflex. So it's not just about the 6-bit coding but even when you specify in the menu. That's a bit of a disappointment. Thanks for clarifying.

The Leica adapter is expensive but one can use the top dials of the CL for focus magnification with any M or LTM lens, including your Summilux 75/1.4, thanks to this adapter. I wouldn't have bought the camera w/o this feature personally. YMMV.
