wilfredo Posted December 11, 2019 Share #1 Posted December 11, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I updated to PS 2020 version and now my Color Efex and Silver Efex Pro Filters are gone. I spent over an hour with Adobe tech support online, and it was a waste of time. I made an an appointment for someone higher up to call me back next week. I had a problem like this before after an Adobe update but Adobe was able to fix the problem; this time they were useless. Any suggestions as to how to download Color Efex Pro again on the IMAC? Is this still available from Google for free? Thanks!

Are you sure you cannot retrieve your original plug-in from your backups?

Where do I find the old folders to do this? Please explain as if for a Third Grader. I'm not big on technology. Thank you for your patience. Thanks! LocalHero1953 Posted December 11, 2019 Share #5 Posted December 11, 2019 I kept the last original installation files (as I do with all downloaded software) and reinstalled it. It works fine with the latest PS & LR. It's available online (e.g.perhaps here) but pick a safe site for downloading 🙂.

If it is Windows go to Local Disk/Programme Files/Adobe/Photoshop(the last version of Photoshop you used them with)/Plugins/Google folder(probably) and they should be in there. Copy and paste the entire folder into Plugins in your new Photoshop version. They should then appear under the 'Filters' tab along the top of the screen.
