That way the shutter will not fire immediately and you get the red light flashing to warn you. So far I have only used a rocket blower for sensor cleaning. Are there instructions somewhere for wet cleaning the SL2 sensor? Oh well, I found the "best" solution in a previous post ... by me :): - Turn camera on (to keep the sensor steady) - Turn off IBIS (to keep the sensor steady) - Turn on electronic shutter (to prevent damage from moving curtain if shutter pressed accidentally). - Wet clean per instructions. Advertisement Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Hi SrMi, Take a look here SL2 firmware update request. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Eclectic Man Posted September 21, 2020 Share #282 Posted September 21, 2020 Just wondering whether the Manual Focus Setup feature has been released as it is not selectable on my SL2 with current firmware 2.0.
Stuart Richardson Posted September 25, 2020 Share #283 Posted September 25, 2020 I think it has surely been covered by now, but PLEASE get rid of the vibration warning pop up on multi-shot mode. It renders it far less useful than it could be, as you need to exit the mode every time you want to adjust the composition even slightly. How about give the popup on a half press or on a full press of the shutter instead? Or just realize that the people likely to use this camera and use this mode are well enough aware of how it needs a stable base. The Panasonic S1 gives a warning when switching into the mode (if I recall correctly), but otherwise it just lets you use it however you like. This can lead to weird and in some cases interesting results. I would rather have a camera that did what I told it to do even if that is "wrong". It is like using a modern car while going downhill. You can put it in a lower gear to use engine braking, and the car will tell you to shift up...
