Quick and dirty corner performance test using S1R and SL2.

SL2 on Left S1R on Right. Lens is 28mm Cron ASPH V1 @f2 minimum focus distance. Pretty nice bump in corner IQ from SL2.

@photonc Thanks a lot for that comparison. May I ask, whether you were using a tripod placed in the same distance, same ISO and same shutter speed?

The amount of loss of quality may vary between different M-lenses, but there obviously is a noticeable difference bewteen SL2 and Panasonic's S1R!

Both were handheld at minimum focus distance with the focus point in the center of the frame shot at 1/100 100 ISO with ibis on. Totally unscientific but should at least give a general direction of performance.
