Advertisement Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Hi imants, Take a look here Leica X2 plus other stuff. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
bcorton Posted November 21, 2019 Share #2 Posted November 21, 2019 'Kept my interest. The imagery was disconcerting, but the craft was wonderful. There was something remotely Petah Coyne-ish in the textures. Remotely.

Would you share a link to some of your Art. I’d love to more, please. Thanks so much for your kind words. These are composite photographs*, from a series of images I did as part of an art exchange with a cohort of other artists. Unfortunately I don't have a website yet that I could link you to. I painted as a young man, then went to graduate school and taught philosophy, film, and English for many years. Now I'm trying to make the shift back to art, experimenting with photography and mixed media--and of course, painting. I'm in the process of trying to produce enough of a portfolio to get a foothold again (or a website). *For instance, the image in post no. 5 is a combination of the stains left by ice-melt on the sidewalk, and the summer Milky Way--plus manipulation, obviously. The X2 was used to photograph both images that contributed to the composite, if I remember correctly. Thank you again for your interest. It inspires me to work harder. bcorton Posted November 23, 2019 Share #9 Posted November 23, 2019 I love the medium of photography too. It was my creative release and solace through the years of grad school and teaching. And now that I have (theoretically) the time to paint again, photography is integral to my vision.
