Marckyokay Posted November 11, 2019 Share #1  Posted November 11, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dear Forum-companions, I’m seeing myself more and more using my favorite portrait lens, the Summicron-M 90mm on my M10-D. But it’s rather heavy after a while of use, so I’m contemplating the LEICA M10 Handgrip. I really like how it fits the aesthetic of the M10 but I don’t have the chance to try one out right personally right now. The M10 and P have a cutout for the screen on the bottom plate, the M10-D bottom plate doesn’t. Does anyone here have a handgrip and an M10-D and can tell if it fits securely and the same way as it does on the regular M10, and might provide a picture of that cutout while the grip is attached to the D? Thanks!
Advertisement Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Hi Marckyokay, Take a look here Leica M10 handgrip on M10-D. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
W124 Posted November 14, 2019 Share #2 Â Posted November 14, 2019 I'm using the BM10 from RRS on the M10, it is without a cut out but fits perfect. There is some space behind the display.
W124 Posted November 14, 2019 Share #3  Posted November 14, 2019 Sorry I have to correct myself, after checking the BM10 again, there is the cutout too! I Did not realize before 😞
Marckyokay Posted November 16, 2019 Author Share #4 Â Posted November 16, 2019 Oh I see, but thank you anyway for the grip recommendation! I guess I have to try one out at a Leica store to see how severe the display cutout is. Thanks!
