Grey-breasted Spurfowl (Pternistis rufopictus) @ Mwiba, Serengeti Tanzania. This endangered bird is endemic to a very limited area in northern Tanzania & occurs nowhere else in Africa.

Thanks. Getting on with life around COVID-19 restrictions. Socialising & dining out are very much not in existence not to mention travel.

It’s a little easier here in Washington now, though with the Delta Variant things seem to be tightening up again.  But we can go out for walks without masks (the density here is as low or lower than in your Upper Bukit Tiam area) and we sometimes just drive out into the loveless Virginia or Maryland countryside for a change.  Still have to turn a blind eye to some old Trump banners in parts of rural Virginia :-).

Sorry moderators, that picture was taken on an M10.  Just seemed to fit the message!  And I meant ‘lovely’ not ‘loveless’ 🙄
