Fully appreciate your comment and do want to discuss your perception - however, just fyi - the colors are those of a late sunny evening and they have not been tuned in post processing (HSL sliders and color grading untouched, "normal" gradation curve). Added a vignette, but this does not impact colors.

It’s totally fine if that’s how you saw the scene, or how you’d like to interpret the scene. You could probably tweak white balance a bit to remove the yellow glow (ie colour cast) but again only if you wanted to, it’s totally optional.

After the Storm....A storm blew through the area after a long hot day, so before sunset I went to one of my favorite local spots

to see if the sun would make an appearance, or if there would be any color in the sky.

Thank you Helge, much appreciated!

I Iook forward to sharing some more images over the next few days. Other than being in this amazing wilderness, the fact that one's able to escape from the global COVID pandemonium & madness, is so refreshing & so stimulating.

Best,

Mike

Very beautiful.  I also liked the Black Flycatcher earlier.

Even in the wilderness beautiful and not cultivated plants can be found. SL2 and Sigma Macro 105 mm plus 2 ply converter. The 2 ply converter was not applied to get a higher magnification rate, but for gaining higher distance to the plants. Main reason for that is to avoid disturbing shadows of myself.
