Hi There

I'm expecting to get my own SL2 in the next few days, in the meantime here is one from my test camera (going back to Germany soon!).

With the 50 APO Summicron SL

Thanks in large part to your review I got mine the day it was launched in Singapore, the day I left for Washington D.C.  It's been grandfather duties since then and I'm banned from posting pictures of family, but I thought I'd break the rules once.  This one is uncropped full-frame with the Lumix 24-105 lens at 102mm and f4.

Handheld on a airboat in the Everglades

That is the beauty of SL90-280. Light & compact for handheld on wildlife.

Just have to adjust shooting style of going closer to subject as 280mm is a shade short. But I have mates complaining 1000mm too short for reach.

A wander in the woods yesterday ..... didn't find much but this does at least show the colour fidelity and image clarity of the SL2

It's a real shame that the forum image size limitations and compression degrades images so much ....  :(

Butterflies in an exhibition - SL 2 and 90 - 280, partly crops. High ISOs up to 6400 as artificial light is not allowed because of the animals.
