Ceiling mosaic in the Church of All Nations, Garden of Gethsemane, Jerusalem. Hand-held, I used the "candlelight" program setting plus LR.

Spent some vacation time on Sylt and visited the Golf Course.  Lovely part of northern Germany.  Nice shot...

Another "Macro" attempt with the Q2.  This time I tried the Leica PHOTOS app I put on my iPod as the camera was on a tripod and down lower than my old body cares to bend.  I took a series of 5 photos clicking the focus on different flowers then blended them in Photoshop to increase the depth of field w/o having to stop down too much so the background still remained fairly soft.  I had never done this with the Q2 before.  I use this a lot with my Nikon and the Leica R APO 100 Macro with good results.  Comments welcome.

Lovely patterns and textures but I think the surroundings distract from it.  Have you thought of cropping out the surroundings and looking for a more intimate shot of just the cactus swirls? In my experience the Q2 can deal with a lot of cropping and give very nice results.   Wouldn't that make a crazy puzzle?

What I really like with the Q2 is, that you can go ballistic with filters and things you hold infront of the camera. This lens is such a joy. Every day there is a situation where I am sure that another combo would have not delivered “that shot” . If you explore the edges of photography then you will find that the q2 is supporting you with endless new possibilities. Had this with the om3, the canon 5 and the canon 5DII. And the M9. But this little nothing is just giving me chills.
Wish a nice weekend to you all.

Paint with light, darkness does not like the light. It’s shy. 🌞

Truly excellent shot.  You are showing some very nice show swishy pan shots.

I do have a closer shot but felt it lost context. Will have another go and post a Version 2.

While I am on a close-up roll, and spring is cooperating, here are some bleeding hearts from my garden.  Same technique as the tulips but only three shots blended.  A bit more of a crop than the last one as there were lots of distractions nearby.

Yeah, I like this one better.  Less distractons, especially the signs labeling the plants.
