How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

One wonders what is the reason for the "step" in the railing.

A good photo always poses more questions than it answers.

Yesterday I went to the airport a d stayed there some time. I found this selfi poster and I sat for a while to see if I can catch a butterfly. The people came by but always the wrong position. Then a couple sat down and after 2 minutes they stood up again and with a little luck I shot this. First I thought: ok he’s not standing in the right position, but then I saw that the off balance gave it a flying touch.

wonderfully surreal, especially with the plane in the background! Looks like they're too nervous to fly commercial but can't afford a PJ...so a do-it-yourself approach has been adopted!

The cats were looking around behind the window. They followed my hand. It was a very nice moment. The part of hamburg was deserted and these cats seemed like guards of the town. So I took some pictures of the guards of the harbor city.
