I’ve been monitoring as I do plan to get one in the next few months. They’re available, really clean, in the $5,000 to $5,300 range. Above that and you are overpaying.

I also have now consider, my state is requiring certain vendors to collect sales tax for online purchases that ups the final price even more. I’ll most likely wind up calling someone like Tamarkin or one of the Leica stores to make my purchase. My days of spending larger sums on eBay and such are over.

Just a thought I could be way off but will there be an import duty tax rise on European cameras any time soon in the US? If so then used prices will start to jump up. Or am I believing hype and fake news?

So far tariffs indicated on lenses, not cameras.
