Leica Auto Lens Cap

Hi all,

I purchased a Leica Auto Lens Cap for my D-Lux 7 from Amazon, but it ships from Adorama Camera. Purchased it through Amazon because I was already ordering a brown leather half case that I liked better than Leica's offering. (Access to everything without having to remove the case!). Anyway...after ordering the Auto Lens Cap in Silver..I noticed it said compatible with the Type 109. Does anyone know if the 109 and the D-Lux 7can take the same Auto Lens Cap? Adorama is closed till Wednesday and Leica till Monday. So this is not an emergency deal, just wondered if the two cameras would accept the same cap. As far as I know, the only difference between the two cameras is slightly upgraded resolution and a bit higher resolution on the LCD screen.

yes this cap will be accept also by D-Lux 7 and D-Lux (Typ 109)!

Hi Michael,

Thank you very much for your informative reply! That sets my poor old brain somewhat more at ease. My dear wife buys things online constantly and like as not the item will need to be returned! I currently have a garage and dining room full of such items! LOL! Thank you again!
