Pecole Posted October 15, 2019 Share #1 Posted October 15, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) When putting my archives in order, I found these two images I am unable to "caption", There is no doubt about the MIKAS in the red simili covered wooden box, but what about the two other "objects"? Thanks for any help. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! It looks sensible, now that I printed and analized the Ortholux catalog you kindly provided the site of. But remains the problem of the second "MIKAS" with bigger ocular, diferente black ring and no visible shutter. Anyhow, thanks again.

That is also a Mikas (but with the micropscope lens removed), the shutter dial is on the other side, see your first picture. I have seen several different Mikas with different ocular, this would be a later model. The earlier ones have the smaller ocular. The last produced versions, Mikas-M, had this ocular and of course an M-bayonet instead of M39 thread. /Joakim
