k0ffe Posted October 4, 2019 Share #1 Posted October 4, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I have an old Leica IIIb and I had an issue with the second curtain not moving at all. So I went in to business to check the tension on the spring of the second curtain but when checking that it was totally loose and it seems like the spring is snapped off so I could not adjust the tension. Is this hard and expensive to fix ?

Reini Posted October 4, 2019 Share #3 Posted October 4, 2019 If the spring in the roll is broken, you have to disassemble it completely. Finding a replacement will be difficult. Or disassamble another IIIf or similar for spare.
