Thanks much for the link. It's very helpful. I have the D Lux 6 and from what I can tell in this video and other reviews there doesn't seem to be a huge incentive to upgrade. I was hoping to hear the image quality was significantly better but it seems about the same.

My Pleasure, I had a D-Lux4, images amazingly satisfactory (taking into account the sensor size etc..)

Likewise. I still recall being really happy with my Digilux 2 in every regard except file size. I'm not sure by my recollection was that it was something like 6 Mp.

the DL2 was a brick... that was the only reason i sold it eons ago the IQ was superior for a crop sensor  (⅔"- ~8.8 x 6.6 mm)  4.9Mp
