Schraub-Alex Posted August 2, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) A day in February of 1996, 9.00 am in the morning, just before a visit to the museum "Victor Hugo". The place was deserted and still.. I found a good opportunity to take this shot with my 1934 Leica III (Summitar 50 mm).
Advertisement Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Hi Schraub-Alex, Take a look here Place de Vosges (Leica III). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted August 2, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 2, 2007 Alex - Lovely framing and suble tonal values. I believe there is a very slight tilt down on the left.
Schraub-Alex Posted August 2, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted August 2, 2007 This may have been caused by the Summitar, Stuart. It's not as good as the 1953-Summicron, I know. Thank you very much for your comment. Your website is lovely. You have much travel-experience. I used to travel in the 1990's as a Tour Director in Europe with American groups. So I appreciate your excellent photographs. Many people who travel a lot, use Leica Cameras, I found out. Greetings, Alex.
