Welcome

From the serial number it should be a model 111b from 1938.

there are lots of books and manuals available that cover the various similar  Leica models from the 1930’s to the 50’s. Almost any book on screw thread Leicas will be helpful.

the butkus.org website has downloadable manuals for many cameras and has one for the 111c which is very similar to your 111b

http://www.cameramanuals.org/leica_pdf/leica_iiic.pdf

i have found the Butkus site very useful I in the past and is the first place I would go to.

Note especially the picture on p39 that shows how the film leader should be trimmed to avoid jamming. Leitz used to make a trimming template, but it's easy enough to do freehand with scissors. You want to leave around 23 unpaired sprocket holes (make sure you cut between holes, not across a hole).
