When my wife uses one grip the other one is mounted on the body that I use, Weird match in coloring, but we don't care for the mix, Black Monochrom, Steel M9 and Silver/Black M8 with silver or black grip. Jeff S Posted August 21, 2019 Share #4 Posted August 21, 2019 The first Monochrom is essentially an M9 with the color filter array removed, just as the second Monochrom M246 is an M240 with similar conversion. In fact when I sold my M8.2 I kept the handgrip and thumbs up and now they're on my MM1. Camera feels so solid in my hand and makes one hand shooting a breeze.
