All my M10 batteries have a mixed 5 numbers and one character serial number. . Example : 4016v8 and 2717v8 seems irrelevant to know the number. If you find the correct type of Leica battery in a field in Scotland or Malaysia, just pass it on! on the last occasion that I thought I had lost a lens cap I retraced my steps and found it in the grass. When I returned home, I found that I hadn’t lost it, I’d just left it behind.
