I shot a bunch of images at a party on the weekend using 2500iso and the 50 Summilux asph. I am very impressed with the quality of the jpegs, which are much better in terms of grain and tone than I'm able to achieve by converting from raw. (probably because I'm clueless as to the best way to convert raw to b+w).

Anyway - this is a link to one of the images, it's from the jpeg, with an adjustment to levels and contrast in PSE - I masked the cigarette:

It's not very forgiving of low contrast and/or under-exposure though, you get some nasty grain that only gets worse as you try to lighten the image. Pretty much like tmax 3200 really - which makes me like it even more :)
