sblitz Posted August 17, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 17, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) My dad just passed away at the age of 97 and he passed on to me a joy of taking pictures. He left me his Leica and assorted gear (there is also a flash attachment someplace) ... just a few pics ... looks like the Japanese 35mm f2/8 has a following ... I remember it as being a very sharp lens ... anyway just sharing ... the telephotos in the back are a hektor 135 (very clean, no fungus) and two elmar 90, the dark one looks to be very old. On the camera is a 50mm summar collapsible .. and he has two light meters, the larger one I remember him using like it was yesterday ... Welcome, dear visitor! I just picked up a Tanack with this lens I sent off for a CLA and was wondering how good this lens is?

tranquilo67 Posted August 22, 2019 Share #7 Posted August 22, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sorry for your lost. Based on his gear he was, for sure, been a Leica lover. Best regards.
Denys Posted August 31, 2019 Share #8 Posted August 31, 2019 Sorry for your loss. It’s great, however, to find that the joy of using the kit is continuing; all too often the recipient has no interest and the kit is sold (often split up). Enjoy it and remember your father that way!
