Ilford Delta 400

Recommended Posts

You should not have any problems at all using Delta 400 with normal yellow or orange filters, just give one or two stops extra exposure (if you are not using a through the lens meter). orange ought to need two stops but sometimes that seems a bit too much, depends on the scene and how you like your negatives to look.

Delta films do work well with filters, but be aware yellow and orange filters can have more of an effect in the shadows/shade and expose accordingly. Also if you are shooting a scene that is mostly in the shade, I would remove the filter yellow/orange filter unless there is a specific reason for using it i.e. orange flower you are trying to lighten etc.
