13 second shutter speed

Neil, 

Set your exposure selector on "B" , then press  1 full sec on focusing contact ( in front of the body) . different settings will appear on rear screen , unfortunately not exactly 9 sec, but 8 should go well.

You may also use a cable release .

Last option, I will be in Edinburg next August 26th, let's have a  meeting, say next to the pipeman in Prince's street😉
