The soft touch from Komaru is pretty cool. They make them out of titanium, aluminum and brass. There each individually machined & have a dual contour. Look really nice!

All these soft release buttons do not really help. Many, many years ago, I found out the following method: The shutter release button sits in the center of a flat cup. I use the rim of that cup as a support for my fingernail. Then I tilt my finger until the shutter releases. It works perfectly.
