Advertisement Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Hi burkey, Take a look here Sigma 45mm. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Archiver Posted August 15, 2019 Share #42 Posted August 15, 2019 Yeah, this looks great. I hope Sigma continue with this style and type of lens. It's got a slightly Zeiss ZM sense of visual design without being a copy.
rfunnell Posted August 15, 2019 Share #43 Posted August 15, 2019 (edited) Picked up the Sigma 45 today and have shot a few images with the Leica SL this afternoon. Initial impressions are that it certainly is a nice lens to use and the images are impressive. Picture of our wonderful city on a winter afternoon - further images from this lens can be viewed at the following link https://www.flickr.com/photos/rfunnell/http:// Welcome, dear visitor! burkey Posted August 15, 2019 Share #44 Posted August 15, 2019 (edited) My Sigma 45mm F2.8 arrived around noon today. An attractive lens and so far, an excellent performer. Here are a some early grab shots with the CL, (I drove my wife a bit crazy), and also a 2:1 screen shot out of Lightroom. All from DNG files with only light processing in Lightroom. Plenty of sharpness seen so far. 'Hope these early shots help folks out. Good luck. . . . David Welcome, dear visitor! coolwindsg Posted August 16, 2019 Share #45 Posted August 16, 2019 I tried some street photos with this lens. All files are in raw format, converted to jpg with minor adjustments. coolwindsg Posted August 16, 2019 Share #46 Posted August 16, 2019 This lens can be used as a portrait lens. The effect is almost like a 55 mm prime lens. Welcome, dear visitor! coolwindsg Posted August 16, 2019 Share #48 Posted August 16, 2019 I am still not familiar with the forum writing tools. Somehow the phot in low light is not uploaded successfully. The picture is also very sharp. Happy with this lens.

rfunnell Posted August 17, 2019 Share #53 Posted August 17, 2019 Great as a portrait lens and very happy with it's inside performance in low light. I'm wondering whether I really need the Leica Summicron SL 35 APO which I have been waiting for for so long. http:// Welcome, dear visitor! jankojanko Posted August 17, 2019 Share #55 Posted August 17, 2019 (edited) Just picked up one myself. Really looking forward to see the results. Looks and feels like a great little lens. This lens could stick on my SL for a long time. Edited August 17, 2019 by jankojanko

jankojanko Posted August 20, 2019 Share #59 Posted August 20, 2019 Leica SL & Sigma 45mm is very compact and light in weight. It feels like using a m-lens but with auto focus.
frickenet Posted August 27, 2019 Share #60 Posted August 27, 2019 I got my lens today. I am a little disappointed. I bought this lens mainly for the upcoming Sigma fp. I thought I could use the lens on my TL2 until the Sigma fp will be available. On my TL2, the aperture ring and the AF/MF switch does not work. And I also think in near distance the lens is on my TL2 not sharp.
