Hi,

So far, my M10 has been bug free, a nice change after the M8, M9 and the occasional lock of the M240.

However, I used the ISO selector recently and since then, it is stuck at 400 ISO. I've done a full reset twice, look at every parameter but whatever I do, still 400 ISO. It is even worse than changing my wife's mind 🙂

I will contact a reseller/repair center soon but I wonder if someone had the same problem and if there is a trick I did not think of.

I remember some reports of this issue coming in the months after the M10 was released. I haven't heard of it again until your post. Sorry it happened to your camera but for sure they'll fix it and then your M10 will be "perfect."

Hi,

I got my M10 a Year ago and my ISO Dial stopped working as described today. Luckily I can change the ISO via the menu, so my M10 still works properly.

My local Leica Dealer in Vienna is not able to fix the problem (he doesn´t  even seem to have an idea) and to get a simple repair proposal would cost €60 already (shipping to Germany). Has anyone an idea how much the repair will cost?

Welcome and sorry your first post relates to a problem.

Was your M10 new when you got it? If so, probably a free repair and you can e-mail Customer Services in Wetzlar and ask for a shipping label and then have it collected .

It happened to my second hand M10, literally the day I bought the camera. The Leica store in Amsterdam, where I did buy the camera did provide me immediately with a replacement M10 (for whole repair period of a few weeks) and fixed the camera with a smile. This was for me a great example how to treat customers well and a clear reason to buy again from an official dealer.

This is super annoying, I remember reading about this a few months after I purchased mine at launch back in January 2017. I called Leica and asked them if this is something that they would be extending warranty on and they said they had no idea. Fast forward to November of this year, my M10 has an unresponsive ISO dial. I have taken it in to the store I purchased it at and they have said almost all of the ones they have sold have come back and they have sent in for repair. I guess a lot of those folks don't report these issues on the forums.

There is one more: To get a cost estimate I will have to send my Leica to Germany. This means €60 post expenses before I even know what the repair will cost. Honestely I postponed my decision as I can still change the ISO via the menu.

Maybe Santa brings me a post-voucher ... 😉
