I have never had any interest in this lens and from what I've seen so far that's not going to change. With the exception of one or two photos here I find the bokeh to be at best very distracting.

I’ve always agreed with this, but I’m nonetheless very happy with this thread. It sheds some different light on this lens (pun intended) than what I saw from jonoslack. I would be very pleased to know the camera that BJohn used though.

Can’t disagree regarding the bokeh. It always comes down to personal preferences and I couldn’t be more happy with what I see, capture and feel with that lens. As I am also having the Lux 50, for some smooth creamy shots I can use that.

I started with an M10. The sensor was broken and now I am a very lucky owner of the M10P. I am going to look for other photographs captured with that lens and certainly upload them tomorrow.

@BJohn I love all of your shots so far in this thread. It seems like you use some kind of preset on them. May I ask what you use?

Thank you very much for your kind words! Yes I do use presets but I don't like to use presets which kind of alter the whole image but bring in some mood, tone, overall colouring to emphasise what I want to express.

I am really struggling between Lightroom and Capture One. Most of my recent shots are processed with Capture One and for C1 I use the official styles quite a lot. Here in particular: Latitude Sunbound, Latitude Deep Forest and Cinematic. For Lightroom I only use the classic presets (https://theclassicpresets.com/). What I would recommend are the Classic CineStock Profiles, which are similar to some of the C1 styles in terms of usage. Hopefully this helps and answers the question. Feel free to drop me a DM anytime if you have more questions regarding my post-processing!
