Leica R9 and lenses stolen

Hello,

 

on March 31st 2019 we were assaulted at home and my Leica R9, plus several lenses (APO 2.8 f100, the 50mm and the 280 APO zoom) were stolen. No insurance, since we had recently moved. Heads-up of you see these goods on sale from Chile.

Welcome to the Forum.

I am sorry about the circumstances that bring you here.

It might be a good idea for you to contact Leica at their Main Headquarters in Wetzlar & to let them know what happened.

If you provide them with the serial numbers of the stolen equipment they could be on the lookout for what was taken if any or all of it is sent to them for service.

You might also separately send the same information to any authorized Leica dealers & any authorized Leica repairers in Chile & separately again to any authorized Leica dealers & any authorized Leica repairers in the Countries surrounding Chile.
