JC Exec Posted July 11, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 11, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I downloaded the june 2019 versions of the manual and the quick start guide and noticed that both have now white covers instead of the traditional black. But most importantly both mention firmware 3.0, but the site only has 2.2 Anyone knows anything about it? Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Hi JC Exec, Take a look here Firmware 3.0. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Dave in Wales Posted July 12, 2019 Share #2 Posted July 12, 2019 From 2.2 to 3.0, seems a huge leap. A 'typo' perhaps?

nicci78 Posted July 13, 2019 Share #4 Posted July 13, 2019 (edited) @JC Exec you just touch gold ! Thanks ! The white cover is just for the quick start sheets. Not the full manual which as never been updated since November 2017. You are looking at the updated Quick start of June 2019 ! Featuring all firmware 3.0 assets. With program video mode, there is a new Aperture priority video mode. Finally ! Welcome, dear visitor! nicci78 Posted July 13, 2019 Share #5 Posted July 13, 2019 Sorry it is in French. But A video means aperture priority video mode (aperture choice and exposure compensation) P video stands for program video mode (only exposure compensation) Welcome, dear visitor! nicci78 Posted July 13, 2019 Share #7 Posted July 13, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Except aperture priority video mode. Nothing has changed. Or I missed it.
ramarren Posted July 13, 2019 Share #8 Posted July 13, 2019 The most recent release of the Leica CL instruction manual (English version) is listed as being June 2019. I don't see any firmware release past v2.1 on the Leica website as yet.
nicci78 Posted July 16, 2019 Share #9 Posted July 16, 2019 maybe some last minute technical issue. Or they just thought that it was not wise to release firmware update just before holidays ?
