jimrie Posted July 5, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 5, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hey everyone, experiencing an issue with my MP-240. I was shooting this morning, using live view for once, and developed an issue with the secondary shutter curtain (the black one behind the grey one). Everything seems to be functioning normally, except for the shutter curtain that fires to expose the sensor. It is not retracting to actually take the exposure, resulting in black images. The camera will display in live view and the sensor shows when you put the camera in sensor cleaning mode, so I know that mechanically it works. I am on the latest firmware, have reset the settings, tried multiple batteries, and used multiple SD cards. Has anyone run into anything similar?
