Advertisement Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Hi pico, Take a look here Hand colored portrait. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Louis Posted May 28, 2019 Share #2 Posted May 28, 2019 Just beautiful. Not only Jamie but also the simple and beautiful colors, the background and your framing. I am though not very sure about the top/bottom color frames. Maybe black could work better. But of course, this is only a matter of taste. I love the shot. epand56 Posted June 23, 2019 Share #6 Posted June 23, 2019 Looks very much like an illustration, more than a photography. Maybe because the small size.

Maybe because the small size. I agree, and to me it is the choice of colors that makes it so. Regarding size, I tend to make small output. Perhaps I should rethink that. (Oh, and I have my browser set to enlarge everything to 170%. With luck someday that will not be necessary.) Your criticism is appreciated. Not a criticism, Pico, I have been looking for a similar effect for years without achieving it, in the past, when I worked as a graphic designer. I did not understand if you really hand colored a B&W picture or not. Anyway, seeing it larger would be interesting.
