The item at the back is a 2 speed MOOLY for cameras Model II to IIIb. I have two of these; a two speed and a dead one speed, which are both off with Malcolm Taylor at present. The two speed one works on the higher speed but is very sluggish or sticks on the first speed. Apparently this was common even when new, which is possibly why Leica dropped the two speed and the single speed, uses the higher of the two speeds. My one speed MOOLY has been immersed in water at some point and the main springs are very rusted, needing replacement. I gave Malcolm two addresses for replacement springs, one a man who repairs old barographs, where the main springs are often broken and have to be made, as no spares available and the second company makes replacement springs for the clock repairing/restoring fraternity.

There looks to be a MOOLY motor drive behind the IG… an interesting item it, too...

Also, the accessory mounted on the shutter button isn't trivial…. the picture isn't so clear, but looks like the old slow speed device HEBOO (but it isn't it)

I think the device on the shutter button is a self timer.

Can be by sure : 3rd party, in case (not APDOO, not  DIREKT) ; a long exposures device seems to me someway a better fit for a "lab camera" like IG… but maybe the dealer mounted it onto just beacuse it can be mounted…
