YUSHENG Posted May 14, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 14, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) M10 live view bug? 1. Power on. 2. Open live view mode. 3. Zoom in to maximum. 4. A straight line appears on the left of screen. 5. Does not affect the actual taken photos. If you take any photo, the straight line will disappear. But it will appear again after power off→power on. LBJ2 Posted May 14, 2019 Share #2 Posted May 14, 2019 I'd send that snap straight to Leica customer service for analysis, advice. Customer.Care@leica-camera.com
John Black Posted May 14, 2019 Share #3 Posted May 14, 2019 It's a column error on the sensor, not a bug. If your DNGs fine, I wouldn't worry about it. It may not show in the DNGs if Leica is savvy enough to apply calibration file as part of its internal DSP processing when creating the DNG. I've seen the same with my M-240s / 246s, and in the case of those cameras, the dead column showed in the DNGs. Cameras went to Leica for service. One had its sensor replaced. The other had a pixel mapped out.
