Guest Metroman Posted July 25, 2007 Share #3 Posted July 25, 2007 John: you have a way with sculpture, remembering previous posts. Great angle and powerful image. Of course I am biased having done 35 years with the Marines but I was 42 Commando. Is this the 45 Commando memorial at Arbroath?

biglouis Posted July 25, 2007 Share #7 Posted July 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) John Ditto the above but I think what adds to the power of the picture is the good use of shadow to emphasise the determination. The contrast with the sky is also very good. Regards LouisB
ctb Posted July 26, 2007 Share #8 Posted July 26, 2007 Stunning photo, I know the area well. I was fortunate enough to get chatting with a 90yr old veteran in Inveraray the other day, he trained there with the SOE, fasinating character, vivid memories, it was my honour to listen to his recollections, he had my total respect.
