Printer and colour management observation

There was a time that it was definitely not a good idea to let the printer handle colour management instead of Photoshop. I’ve just taken delivery of an Epson  XP15000 and on test I cannot see any quality difference between the two. What are your experiences?

I use ImagePrint to replace the LR print module and my Epson P800 driver.  But your issue received close attention when Ctein was still writing for TOP....

Very interesting article. However after using Image Print with a P800 for the past 2 years or so on the recommendation of Jeff,I am not even tempted to change anything.

Unfortunately Image Print does not support my Epson XP15000

This is an interesting topic.  With Canon Image ProGraf printers there is a third option to print from a plug-in called Print Studio.  When equivalent options are selected in any of the three print methods for Canon, I can't tell the difference.  Sometimes it is hard to pick the equivalent option because the terminology is different.  Hopefully others are giving a more critical look at the topic.
