Good question. I didn't understand the situation before I photographed it. I thought I might capture a grand sweep of a scene. Hah! Only after I processed the file did I come to my judgment.

My thought exactly.  How often  we think our photography can improve a building. Usually find myself wandering around looking for attractive details to pull it together.
