Q2 Buffer

Is the buffer on the Q2 the problem some reviewers are making it out to be? Some have said you can out run it after 8 raw images, not even shooting in continuous mode?

I think that’s an interesting question. In the Q1 buffer is a real headache. Hope this problem has been fixed in Q2 so I’d like to know more about it.

I just did a test, raw only

15 shots at high speed continuous until buffer was full, then it took 30 seconds to finish writing those to the card

@dancook but after how many second you can start to take photo again? Q1 1 was very bud in this, Is the buffer quicker now we can use faster sd card? Or now so many MP make that the situation is the same of Q1? Thanks

From memory as long as you don’t try to review any images you have taken you can take an image every time one clears from the buffer. So every two seconds or so.

Never had a buffer issue on my Nikon D500, not sure why Leica wouldn’t make it large enough or even oversized it on a 47 mp camera that costs 5k?
